LawWare gains Law Society Approved Supplier status.

LawWare Approved Supplier status

Practice Management software leader, LawWare, has recently gained Approved Supplier status from The Law Society of Scotland.

LawWare’s latest edition of software is due to be rolled out in 2024 and will provide a whole host of new features and benefits designed to improve the efficiency of firms throughout Scotland.

From small acorns…

LawWare pioneered the provision of legal software in Scotland and has been at the forefront of legal technology for over 25 years.

Starting back in 1995, Warren Wander, LawWare’s visionary founder, teamed up with the Law Society of Scotland to develop the “High Street Starter Kit” – the first real practice management system aimed at small and medium-sized practices. Since then, technology has moved on, with LawWare leading the way with the modern, efficient systems we all know today.

Jack Rowberry, the Law Society’s Business Development Manager, commented:

LawWare has consistently developed their products reflecting both technological advances and the changing needs of the legal profession. Gaining Approved Supplier status is a testament to all that hard work and commitment.

Jim McKay, the Law Society’s Head of Commercial Services, added:

Congratulations to Warren and his team at LawWare – becoming an Approved Supplier is a well-earned reward for all the hard work that has been devoted to the Scottish legal profession.

It’s great to see that LawWare plans to roll out its latest edition of software this year, with new features aimed at supporting Law Society members and driving efficiency.

Warren Wander commented:

I am delighted both for myself and my team that our service to the Scottish legal profession has been recognised by this new status. I am looking forward to working closely with the Law Society of Scotland in 2024 and continuing to deliver effective solutions for Scottish practices.

More about Warren Wander and LawWare

Back in 1995, a young software developer embarked on a mission to help bring affordable legal software to the profession, working alongside a consortium of UK Law Societies on their High Street Starter Kit Project.

The idea was to develop software that met their stringent documented standards in order to achieve Law Society approval. The project, code named the HSSK attracted a lot of interest and was very high profile.
