The ability to work with both LawWare and Office as integrated components of the software package allows you to:

  • Open Word documents from within LawWare.
  • Drag and drop emails into client files from Outlook.
  • Store all your office generated documents within your matter files.

This level of Microsoft Office integration also allows you to use client detail data to generate bulk mailings and emails. Thus allowing you to keep your clients up to speed via newsletter or to canvass them for more business.

Microsoft Office comprises a collection of office-related applications. Each application serves a unique purpose and offers a specific service to its users. For example, Microsoft Word allows you to create documents. Microsoft Excel provides spreadsheet ability and Microsoft Outlook manages email and calendars. There are others as well.

There is a multitude of applications to choose from. Consequently, not every user needs all of them. Microsoft often groups the applications together in collections called suites. However, the web-based Microsoft Office 365 is the version that Microsoft would prefer users to adopt.

With automatic email filing, your software recognises individual emails and to which case file they belong and files them accordingly. That means you never lose track of your correspondence.
